Fort Worth Date Night: There will be a spark!

ItÂ’s the weekend youÂ’ve all been waiting for. How cool is it that July 4 falls on a Saturday? Although, it might be even better when holidays land in the middle of the week. Who doesnÂ’t love time off of work?

The Fourth of July is one of those great holidays because it doesnÂ’t involve much effort on your part. You are not required to wake up early to go to your place of worship. Therefore, you donÂ’t have to get dressed up. July 4 encourages you to be as casual as you can possibly be. Some of you may only don a swimsuit all weekend. This may not apply to you, but, you are also not required to be around your entire family like other holidays. In fact, you donÂ’t have to be around any of your family. You can just hang out with your friends or the people of your choosing.

Of course, fireworks should definitely be in your plans. Fort Worth is lucky to have so many great offerings. I donÂ’t want to leave any out, but, some of my favs are Concert in the Garden, the Texas Rangers post-game, Colonial Country Club (need to be a member), downtown Fort Worth, the Fort Worth Cats post-game show, Eagle Mountain Lake and so on and so on. You can also head to the mid-cities and check out the festivities and great show at the BedfordÂ’s Boys Ranch.  To learn more about any of these July 4 shows or perhaps ones that are close to you, simply do a quick search on the Internet.

So, this weekÂ’s Date Night is all up to you. Take it easy, drink lots of liquids (to stay hydrated in this hot weather.  Geesh, what did you think I meant?) and, as a couple, check out a great fireworks show.  In the end, you can never say there wasnÂ’t a spark between you.
