Recently, Keller Independent School District Board of Trustees unanimously approved the hiring of five administrators to fill new positions resulting from recent growth in the district. Kim Pool will serve as executive director of curriculum and instruction, and David Hadley, Linda Lammers, Leona McDade, and Vicki Waits, will serve as principals on various campuses in Keller.

John Walker, hall monitor at Forest Oak Middle School, was the winner of the Fort Worth Independent School District Harriet Griffin Human Relations Award. It recognizes school district employees who promote understanding of different cultures and help improve relationships between students, staff and the community.

David P. McNair has joined the JPS Physician Group as a staff physician at the JPS Family and Urgent Care Center. JPS also honored Steve Parrish as JPS Health Network Nurse of the Year, Veda Green as the Spirit of JPS Volunteer of the Year, and Adonna Lowe as the winner of the Excellence in Nursing Management award.
