Baylor opens Scoliosis Center

Baylor All Saints Medical Center at Fort Worth will celebrate the opening of its Baylor Scoliosis Center on March 11 in the Professional Arts Building at 1650 West Magnolia Ave., Suite 210.

The Baylor Scoliosis Center, which has another location in Plano, will offer treatment for adolescent and adult scoliosis and will begin seeing patients on March 11 and continue seeing patients on the first Wednesday of every month. The number of clinic days will grow as patient volume increases.

Scoliosis, an abnormal curving of the spine, may arise on its own or as a result of another medical condition, such as cerebral palsy or trauma. It can sometimes become worse during adolescent growth spurts, and it can also become painful if left untreated.
